BSSA Auction 8 2025

BSSA Auction 8 for 2025 is now live!

Running from March 31st to April 6th at 7 pm ACST, this exciting auction features 12 quality birds from BSSA Members. Extended bidding applies if needed, so be sure to keep an eye on the clock.

The auction showcases birds from well-respected breeders including Marie & Kerry Murphy, the Longbottom Family, Jane Kelb, and George England.

Varieties available include Normals, Yellowfaced, Spangles, Inos, Clearwings, and Blackeyes. Each bird is well described in the comments, giving buyers plenty of detail. One 2022 cock is even described as a “fit and strong love machine”—he’s ready to impress!

These birds are sold on behalf of BSSA Members. All bird descriptions are provided by the seller and accepted in good faith. BSSA Inc. takes no responsibility for inaccuracies, so please contact the seller directly with any questions.

Bidding is anonymous. Only your bidder number will appear during the auction. This keeps things fair and confidential for all participants.

Please check each bird’s location carefully before bidding. Freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser, and we recommend clarifying arrangements early.

Good news—most vendors will transport birds to the airport at no charge and are happy to combine shipments with other sellers to save on freight.

We also ask all bidders to register a phone number. This helps us contact you quickly if you’re successful.

Finally, please remember the BSSA is a not-for-profit organisation. All proceeds from this auction go directly towards supporting the club and promoting the hobby.
