Colours Standards May 2026

To the ANBC Community,

Over the past month, ANBC Delegates have been working through a review of By-Law 1 – Show Rules, focusing on the wording relating to Hens, Albino, and DEC classes. The aim has been to bring these into a clearer and more consistent format that better reflects the variations eligible for exhibition by adding the team ASC, or Any Standard Colour.

The proposed changes were initially circulated to Zone C and S Delegates for their input, and following their support, were then provided to all Zones for final consideration. I am pleased to report that the outcome was a unanimous decision in favour of the amendments, with all Zones supporting a practical and common-sense approach.

These updates have now been formally adopted and are available on the ANBC website for members to view. The changes will also be reflected in the nomination paperwork for the upcoming Nationals.

Accordingly, the Schedule of Classes for the Show (effective 2026 and beyond) is as follows:
