Induction into the A.N.B.C. Inc. Hall of Fame – Honour Roll For Services to the A.N.B.C. Inc.

Qualification for induction into the A.N.B.C. Inc. Hall of Fame Honour Roll is based upon an exceptional and sustained commitment of personal time, effort, and leadership dedicated to the advancement and enhancement of the Budgerigar fancy at both National and International levels over an extended period.

Mr. Neale Love entered the world of Budgerigars in the 1980s and has remained actively and continuously involved within his Zone ever since. He was appointed to his Zone Judging Panel in the late 1980s and subsequently elevated to the A.N.B.C. National Judging Panel in 1993.

Neale has officiated as a Judge at five A.N.B.C. National Competitions conducted across Australia at the time of writing and, in recognition of his expertise and standing within the fancy, was also invited to judge internationally at Karlsruhe, Germany, in 2019 for the WBO.

Beyond judging, Neale has given extensive service to administration and governance. He has been a member of his Zone Management Committee for over two decades and has held the position of President of the S.Q.B.B.A. for a period exceeding ten years. He has also served two terms as National President of the A.N.B.C. Inc. When not appointed as a Judge, he has further contributed as a SQBBA Team Carer.

Neale has been a prominent and valued member of the A.N.B.C. National Colour and Standards Committee, as well as the Judges Examination Panel. He has also been a consistent and constructive contributor to the A.N.B.C. Inc. Annual Meetings in his capacity as an S.Q.B.B.A. Delegate.

At State level, Neale has been an exceptionally active contributor within Queensland, supporting all facets of Budgerigar breeding, exhibition, judging, and promotion, always with the objective of advancing the standard and profile of the fancy.
