Alan Rowe

Induction into the A.N.B.C. Inc. HALL OF FAME HONOUR ROLL FOR SERVICES TO THE A.N.B.C. Inc.

Qualifying for this Honour is based on massive amount of personal time and effort committed to the enhancement of this hobby Nationally and Internationally over a very long period of time.

Entering the world of Budgerigars as a sixteen-year-old teenager, sixty-eight years ago. This is a dedicated lifetime in the hobby with a totally committed attitude to the advancement of the hobby from Club participation, State commitment and National / International involvement in all aspects of advancement, improvement, and enjoyment for not only himself but everyone around him. Still contributing to his Zone, and Club.

Appointed to the Zones Judging panel in the seventy’s and then appointed to the National Judging panel in 1991.

He has Judged at four National Competitions around Australia starting in 1998, 2006, 2011, and 2017. Travelled overseas in 2010 to judge at the D.S.V. show in Germany, and the World Championship Budgerigar Show in Doncaster England in 2013, and the W.B.O. European Show in Hungary 2018, as well as representing the A.N.B.C. Inc. again in Germany, Portugal and New Zealand.

Being a member of his Zones management committee for over two decades and being an active member of the Judges and Standards Committee both in his home Zone and the A.N.B.C. Inc. Also served time as a committee member on National Colour & Standards committee.

While being very active in contributing to these committees both nationally and in his home Zone. Also a contributor at the annual A.N.B.C. Inc. annual meeting as a B.C.V. Delegate. Has also had a term as a BCV State carer of the National team. A very active contributor in his home State of Victoria in all activities involving the enhancement and showing of the Budgerigar.
