Capricornia Budgerigar Society Inc. Young Bird Selection Show
Held Saturday, 2 May 2026
On Saturday, 2 May 2026, the Capricornia Budgerigar Society Inc. held its Young Bird Selection Show to select the club team to travel to Townsville and compete against the other clubs within the North Queensland Budgerigar Zone in the Brian West Shield.
The event also provided members with the opportunity to seek selection for the Zone team at the National Show. Capricornia Budgerigar Society members were once again successful in winning the Brian West Shield and qualifying 39 birds in the Zone team for the Nationals.
The club congratulates all members for producing birds worthy of representing the Zone and for achieving many high placings at the Gold Coast National Championship Show.
