A couple of regional NSW shows – and plenty of auctions

Post the excitement of the 50^th TrillTM Expert ANBC Nationals on the Gold Coast last month, it’s been a bit quiet here in NSW, although two regional shows were held in June.

Orana Avicultural Society’s Annual Show was held in Dubbo on 7^th of the month.

John Boss took out Grand Champion Budgerigar with a Cinnamonwing Any Age cock bird, Any Age Opp Sex, as well as Open Opp Sex. Steve Draper won Open Young Bird and Young Bird in Show with a Normal Blue, and Andrew & Wayne Cusack took out both Champion Platinum and Opp Sex Platinum. Ian & Kathy Manton won most successful budgerigar exhibitors with 7 Best of Variety awards. Mark Riley had success right across all bird species, winning most successful exhibitor in show.

Bathurst Regional Avicultural Show was held on 14^th June at Mount Panorama, Bathurst.

Grand Champion Budgerigar and Champion Young went to Andrew & Wayne Cusack with a Normal Greygreen Cock and Champion Any Age Hen with a Cinnamonwing Sky Blue. Ian & Kathy Manton won Champion Any Age with a Cinnamonwing Light Green Cock and Reserve Any Age with a Normal Sky as well as 4 Best of Varieties.
