Get ready for one of Victoria’s most anticipated regional budgerigar events — the Geelong Budgie Auction 2025! Proudly hosted by the Geelong & District Budgerigar Society Inc., this unmissable auction will take place at the Geelong Showgrounds – The Hall of Agriculture on Sunday, 27 April 2025.

Featuring 194 quality budgerigars, this year’s event showcases birds from top breeders across Victoria, including a partial stud dispersal from Peter Tyack, alongside select entries from Geelong Club members. Whether you’re a seasoned fancier or a budding beginner, the Geelong Budgie Auction 2025 is the perfect place to find your next show or breeding bird.

🕘 Schedule:

Firstly, benching from 9am
Secondly, viewing 9–10am
Then, Auction starts at 10am with respected auctioneer Peter Thurn

Bid in person or remotely — phone bidding and transport can be arranged via Aussie Pet Connections (0400 966 738) or Animal Freight Australia (0419 349 441).

💳 Payments: Cash and card accepted (2% surcharge applies).
📜 Terms: All buyers must register upon entry. A 10% seller’s commission and a 2% BCV buyer’s levy apply.
