BSSA Auction 7 2026 is now live and delivering another outstanding lineup for budgerigar enthusiasts across the country. To that end, it features quality birds from vendors Ken & Janet Harris, Chris Jones, and Marie & Kerry Murphy. This event showcases a diverse range of sought-after varieties including Australian Golden Faced, White Capped, Cinnamonwings, Spangle Double Factors, Spangles, Normals and more.
Running from April 20 to April 26, the auction will conclude at 7:00 PM ACST. There is also extended bidding in place to ensure fair competition on final lots. Whether you’re chasing exhibition potential or strengthening your breeding lines, BSSA Auction 7 2026 offers genuine opportunity.

BSSA Auction 7 2026 Conditions & Bidding
Bidding remains anonymous throughout, with only your bidder number displayed. Freight arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. However, most vendors are happy to assist by transporting birds to the airport at no additional cost. They will often combine consignments to help reduce overall freight expenses. If you are participating in BSSA Auction 7 2026, make sure you are well aware of all bidding rules for 2026.

About the BSSA
The Budgerigar Society of South Australia (BSSA), founded on May 20, 1948, is South Australia’s oldest budgerigar club and a proud foundation member of the Australian National Budgerigar Council (ANBC). As a not-for-profit organisation, all proceeds from auctions go directly back into supporting the club, its members, and the wider hobby.
The BSSA meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 18 Arthur Street, Unley, South Australia 5167. With a strong focus on education, community and continuous improvement, the club continues to play a leading role in promoting budgerigars in a modern and progressive way.
