NEBS All SA Auction 2026
The NEBS All SA Auction 2026 is a special online budgerigar auction. It showcases quality South Australian birds from members of the North East Budgerigar Society and Port Pirie Budgerigar Society. Originally, it was planned as part of their July activity. However, this event has now become the June All SA Mega Event. It is starting earlier than expected and giving members and fanciers the chance to secure birds from successful South Australian studs.
This year, the NEBS July meeting will be a Christmas in July get-together. The only catch is that we’ll be celebrating at the pub, which is great news for dinner and a drink. However, it is not quite as practical for handing over budgerigars. Because of that, there won’t be a July Mega Auction hand-off point at the meeting.
So, rather than trying to make birds, cages and pub meals all work in the same room, the North East has decided to do something a little different again. For June, NEBS will be holding an All-SA Auction. This event will feature birds from NEBS and Port Pirie members who had birds selected in the team for Southport. As a result, it is a great opportunity to showcase South Australian quality and offer fanciers the chance to purchase birds connected to successful National team studs.
Featuring South Australian Budgerigar Breeders
The NEBS All SA Auction 2026 features birds from Graham McCallum, Malcolm Loveridge, Doug & Ruth Lange, and the Holmes Family. These exhibitors have supported the South Australian fancy and have had birds involved at high levels of competition. Therefore, this auction is an excellent opportunity for breeders looking to add depth, variety and useful bloodlines to their breeding rooms.
A Variety-Focused Budgerigar Auction
Some exhibitors had a couple of birds available, while others are already well and truly empty after the North East Tender Sale and with entries going into the Council Auction. As a result, this will be a more variety-focused auction. However, it is one with plenty of interest and quality behind it.
There will be a huge number of varieties on offer. These include Inos, Black Eyed Self, Cinnamonwings, Clearflight Dutch Pieds, Crest Breds, Dark Eyed Clears, Fallows, Golden Faced, Lacewings, Lutinos, Normals, Opalines, Violets, Recessive Pieds, Spangle Cinnamonwings, Spangle Double Factors and more.
NEBS All SA Auction 2026 Dates
The auction starts on June 15 and ends on June 21 at 8:00pm ACST, plus extended bidding. Since the birds are already available, we thought, why wait? July’s event has officially become June’s All SA Mega Event, starting now.
Each listing includes a bird description supplied in good faith by the seller. While NEBS takes care in presenting these listings, NEBS is not responsible for any inaccuracies. Buyers are encouraged to contact the seller directly if they require clarification before bidding.
Do not miss the NEBS All SA Auction 2026, a special South Australian budgerigar auction. It celebrates quality birds, variety breeding and the ongoing strength of the South Australian fancy.
