South West Budgerigar Club Auction 2026

The South West Budgerigar Club Auction 2026 is set to bring budgerigar breeders and enthusiasts together in Mandurah for another outstanding annual sale. It is hosted by the South West Budgerigar Club (Mandurah) Inc. The auction will be held on Sunday, 20 September 2026 at the Coodanup Community Centre, Wanjeep Street, Coodanup, Mandurah.

Setting up and benching will commence at 10:00am, followed by viewing from 10:15am to 11:30am. The auction itself will get underway at 11:45am, giving buyers plenty of time to inspect the birds before bidding begins.

Quality Budgerigars from Western Australian Breeders

The 2026 catalogue features an excellent selection of budgerigars from respected Western Australian breeders. These include Jennifer Camarda, Noel Kerr, Stephen Ramsden, Les Trumper, Ian Cullen, Robyn Peirce, Les Woodcock and Josh Spozetta.

Across the catalogue, buyers will find a broad selection of varieties. These include Normal Greens, Normal Blues, Greys, Grey Greens, Spangles, Dominant Pieds, Opalines, Cinnamonwings, Lutinos, Clearwings, Recessive Pieds, Dark Eyed Clears, Greywings, Dilutes, Clearbodies and Saddlebacks.

National-Level Bloodlines and Proven Breeding

Several lots also carry impressive breeding and exhibition credentials. Among the catalogue highlights is a Greywing Grey cock that represented Western Australia at the 2025 Australian National Budgerigar Championships. Other birds are closely related to National-level performers. Some also feature established bloodlines including Wheatley, Pearson, Trumper, Gearing, Dickson, Murphy, Troy and Elmir.

Phone Bidding Available

For those interstate, phone bidding is welcome for breeders who are unable to attend the South West Budgerigar Club Auction in person. Phone bidders must register their name, phone number, postal address and home club with Ian on 0417 976 446 no later than 6:00pm WST on Friday, 18 September 2026.

Food and drinks will also be available at the venue throughout the day.
