BSSA Auction 19 2026

BSSA Auction 19 for 2026

BSSA Auction 19 for 2026 is now underway, bringing another quality selection of budgerigars to fanciers across South Australia and around the country. It features birds from Kylee Walsh, Dave Miller, Chris Murphy, and Ken & Janet Harris. The latest Budgerigar Society of South Australia online auction offers breeders another opportunity to strengthen their breeding teams.

BSSA Auction 19 commences on Monday, September 14, 2026. It concludes on Sunday, September 20 at 7:00 pm ACST, plus extended bidding where required.

Quality Budgerigars and Varieties on Offer

There is plenty of variety represented in BSSA Auction 19 for 2026. Birds available include Cinnamonwings, Dominant Pieds, Lacewings, Normal Greens, Opaline Cinnamonwings, Spangles, Spangle AOSV and birds split for Recessive Pied.

While the auction features birds being offered by BSSA members, some were originally purchased from other well-known breeders. These birds are now being moved on. As a result, prospective buyers will find genetics from a broader selection of Australian aviaries represented throughout the catalogue. Among the breeders represented in the background of birds on offer are John Mulley, Mick Gearing and the Holmes Family. There are also birds from other recognised breeders.

Whether you are searching for a particular variety, looking for an outcross or simply hoping to add something different to your breeding team, it is well worth taking a close look through the individual pedigrees and descriptions.

Supporting the Budgerigar Society of South Australia

All birds in BSSA Auction 19 are being sold on behalf of BSSA members. The Budgerigar Society of South Australia (BSSA) is a not-for-profit organisation. Proceeds help support the Society and its ongoing promotion of the budgerigar hobby. All descriptions are provided in good faith by the individual sellers. Bidding remains anonymous, with only bidder numbers displayed during the auction.

Freight and Collection Information

Prospective buyers should check the location of each bird before bidding, as freight costs remain the responsibility of the purchaser. Where possible, vendors can also combine birds with those from other sellers, helping purchasers reduce freight costs.

BSSA Auction 19 for 2026 closes Sunday, September 20 at 7:00 pm ACST, plus extended bidding.

Finally, don’t leave your run too late. Inspect the catalogue, study the pedigrees and place your bids before another exciting BSSA auction comes to a close.
