BSNSW President’s Report
The BSNSW held its AGM earlier this month, and we had a good roll up of Office Bearers and Affiliated Club delegates attending online. There were no major changes to Office-bearer roles, with the same crew of hardworking volunteers committing to another year ahead. Thank you all for the support and the work our officials do to make the BSNSW run smoothly.
After a few quiet months from the show scene perspective, it’s great to see Young Bird Shows back on the calendar.
New England Budgerigar Club Young & Juvenile Bird Show
New England Budgerigar Club held their annual YBS for Young & Juvenile birds on Sunday 20th September.
Rob Peffer and I were privileged for the opportunity to judge the 156 birds entered. An enormous effort was put in by their Secretary Jess Sykes, who did most of the pre-work to make this show happen, and thanks also go to show sponsor Purkiss Rural.
Congratulations to everyone who entered birds and well done to those that took out awards.

Plans are progressing with the show organisers holding meetings online. A contingency from NSW and Gary Hibbard from Sth Qld met up in Canberra on Friday 25th September to discuss requirements with the potential AV supplier and Rex Hotel staff, including a walk-through and measuring up of what will go where.
Thank you to Rob Peffer for initiating and advancing plans, and for chairing the online meetings.
