The Rare Budgerigar Club of WA (Inc.) is pleased to present its 2026 Auction, to be held on Saturday, 7 November 2026, at the Drill Hall, Bayswater.

With 54 lots on offer, this year’s catalogue presents an exciting selection of exhibition budgerigars, with birds from established breeders across Western Australia, South Australia and New South Wales.

The auction provides an excellent opportunity for breeders and exhibitors to add quality birds to their teams, introduce new bloodlines and strengthen their breeding programs. The catalogue includes a broad range of varieties, with Normal, Spangle, Cinnamonwing, Dominant Pied, Opaline, Clearbody, Recessive Pied, Lutino, Fallow, Golden Faced, Black Eyed Self, Lacewing and other combinations represented throughout the sale.

Lots 52–54 provide a special Western Australian component, featuring birds bred by Norm Wheatley, including Fallow, Black Eye and Cinnamon Wing/Black Eye birds, together with a Normal Grey Green bird with an interesting breeding history.
