Why Contact the ANBC?

The ANBC is an incorporated body under the laws of the Australian Capital Territory whose membership comprises seven-(7) state or zone-based budgerigar organisations. Its primary function is to annually hold the Australian Championship Show and to facilitate and coordinate policies for adoption of its member organisations. The ANBC enables its member bodies to coordinate cooperative actions on matters on which such bodies agree with respect to show rules, judging and standard and policies which are of common interest to its member bodies. Furthermore, the ANBC also represents Australian Budgerigar breeders interests at international bodies concerning Budgerigars or matters pertaining to international trade in birds, welfare and wellbeing.
