Western Australian Budgerigar Council (WABC)

The Western Australian Budgerigar Council (WABC), established in 1989, is the central administrative body for budgerigar clubs across Western Australia. The WABC coordinates and supports a network of affiliated clubs, promoting the breeding, exhibition, and welfare of budgerigars in the state. The council plays a key role in organizing major events, including regional and state competitions, and has hosted several Australian National Budgerigar Council (ANBC) Championship Shows, with notable events held in Perth, Fremantle, Busselton, and Mandurah.
