BSNSW President’s Report

Things are somewhat quiet here in NSW post the Nationals, but July 12th saw the BSNSW’s newly affiliated Northern Budgerigar Association’s inaugural show event at Raleigh, NSW.

Northern Budgerigar Association of NSW (NBA) encapsulates the region once held by the two former clubs of Mid-North Coast Club and Northen Budgerigar Breeders Association. NBA show results:

Meanwhile on the auction front, Hills Budgerigar Club ran their legendary Super Auction on 4th July. The birds available are by invitation only to successful breeders around the country, and there were some truly outstanding birds available. Both buyers and sellers would have gone home happy and a huge well done to Hills for once again hosting this event.

 

 

Coming up on 8th August is the Newcastle Budgerigar Club Auction at Wallsend Pioneer Hall, 54 Cowper St, Wallsend. Viewing from 9am, with auction commencing at 10am.
