BSSA Auction 21 2026 – Six Quality Budgerigars Up for Auction

BSSA Auction 21 for 2026 is officially underway. It offers budgerigar breeders and exhibitors across Australia another opportunity to secure quality birds for their aviaries. This auction is an all-Murphy affair, featuring six budgerigars from BSSA life members Chris Murphy and Marie & Kerry Murphy.

Running from Monday, October 12th through to Sunday, October 18th, 2026, bidding closes at 7:00 PM ACDT.

BSSA Auction 21 features an interesting selection of budgerigar varieties. This includes Cinnamonwings, Dominant Pieds, Lacewings, Opaline Cinnamonwings, Recessive Pieds and Spangle Opalines. Whether you are looking to strengthen your breeding program, introduce new bloodlines or add something different to your aviary, this auction is certainly worth exploring.

Bidding and Freight Information

All bidding is anonymous, with only your bidder number displayed. Please register your phone number to make communication easier if you are successful. Before bidding, check the location of each bird. Freight costs remain the responsibility of the purchaser. However, most BSSA vendors offer complimentary airport delivery and can coordinate transport with other vendors to help reduce costs.

All birds are offered on behalf of BSSA members, with descriptions provided in good faith by the sellers. Any inaccuracies or questions regarding individual birds should be addressed directly with the vendor. Furthermore, BSSA Inc accepts no responsibility for these descriptions.
