Another 12 months has passed by very quickly — and the months seem to come around faster, even though our timepieces still record 60 seconds to a minute.

This is a time to remember those who are no longer with us, and to reflect on the moments we shared with them. It is also a time to extend our best wishes to anyone dealing with health concerns or personal challenges. We hope you experience a smooth and speedy recovery.

Congratulations to those who found success on the show bench during the year — may those results continue. To those who didn’t quite collect the top ribbons, keep striving with your birds. That determination is part of what makes this hobby so rewarding.

Within Colours & Standards, our ongoing focus remains the new pictorial, which will ramp up in earnest throughout 2026.
