The Elmir Family Auction 2025 offers a opportunity for fanciers to secure budgerigars from well-credentialed lines with a proven track record. The breeder has been working with exhibition budgies for 12 years (on and off). After selling out twice for personal reasons, they returned to the hobby four years ago with renewed focus—reacquiring elements of their Gary Gazzard line and adding quality birds from Alan Kent, Peter Thurn, Wayne Weidenhofer, and pure Garry Watson lineage. Moreover, the result has been magnificent breeding performance and depth across colour and variety.

This auction features birds not being retained for the future team or varieties the breeder is exiting. Some birds have never been used in the breeding room; many are one-year-olds with their best seasons ahead. The reduction is strategic: a planned cut-back from ~200 birds to an efficient core of ~60 Normals and 20 Crests (around 80 resident birds), plus select youngsters—driven by work commitments and the growing needs of family life.
