Mahir Family Final Auction 2026

The Mahir Family Final Auction 2026 is now underway, offering fanciers one last opportunity this year to secure quality normal show budgerigars from Mahir’s breeding room. This will be Mahir’s final auction for 2026 featuring normal show budgies, with one further crested auction still to come.

This auction includes a mixed selection of birds that were either not picked up, not paid for, or newly made available after not previously being offered for sale. Most of the birds are 2025 rung and represent a variety of well-known bloodlines, including Ray Slade, Ian Hunter, John Ennis, Armin Arslanian, and Charles & Ann Mifsid. These bloodlines offer breeders the chance to add useful outcrosses, variety, and depth to their own breeding programs.

The Mahir Family Final Auction 2026 begins on July 8 and will conclude on July 15 at 8:00 PM AEST, with extended bidding applying if required.

Freight and Collection Information

Mahir has advised that he is willing to drop birds at the airport for interstate buyers. However, purchasers are responsible for organising freight, purchasing travel cages, and confirming all freight costs before bidding.

Freight box prices:

Box for 1–4 birds: $20
Box for 5–8 birds: $30

Freight costs, freight boxes, and transport arrangements are the responsibility of the purchaser. Buyers should check all freight pricing and availability before placing bids.

Payment Terms

Payment for all birds is due within 24 hours after the auction ends. Invoices will be sent on the same night the auction finishes.
