The Mid State October Budgerigar Auction 2026 is here, bringing together an exciting selection of donated budgerigars in support of the Mid-State Budgerigar Club. This annual fundraising auction commences on Sunday, October 18th. It concludes on Sunday, October 25th at 7:30 PM AEDT.

With 100% of auction proceeds going directly towards supporting the Mid-State Budgerigar Club and its annual show, this is a fantastic opportunity for budgerigar enthusiasts to introduce new bloodlines into their aviaries. Additionally, participants can support the hobby at the same time.

Quality Budgerigars Donated by Club Members

This year’s Mid State October Budgerigar Auction features birds generously donated by Glenn & Tanya Sinclair, Kiah Sinclair, Peter Baker, Ian & Kathy Manton, Rob Peffer, Gary Pymont, Perc Anelzark, and Steve Draper.

Prospective buyers will find an excellent variety of budgerigars available. These include Normal Greens, Normal Blues, Lutinos, Yellow Faced Blues. You will also see Normal Grey Greens, Spangles, Opalines, Cinnamonwings, Split Fallows. Furthermore, there are Split Lacewings and Dominant Pieds.

Whether you are an experienced exhibitor or looking to strengthen your breeding program, this fundraising auction offers an opportunity to acquire birds. It also enables you to contribute to a worthwhile cause.

Supporting the Mid-State Budgerigar Club

The Mid-State Budgerigar Club is a not-for-profit organisation affiliated with the Budgerigar Society of New South Wales. The club brings together members of all ages. Furthermore, all funds raised through this auction will support the club’s annual show and ongoing activities.

Auction Information, Collection and Freight

All birds are available at the Mid-State Show and may be collected directly from the event. Freight boxes are available for $20 each, with purchasers responsible for freight costs.

Most vendors can assist with airport delivery at no additional charge and coordinate shipments where practical to help reduce transport costs. Therefore, buyers should contact individual vendors regarding freight arrangements.

Bidding remains anonymous, with only bidder numbers displayed. All payments must be deposited into the club’s bank account before October 28th to ensure funds are settled ahead of the annual show.
