MBC Show Schedule 2024

The Mid State Annual Budgerigar Show for 2024 will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Orange Showground, Leeds Parade in the main pavilion. The show is open to exhibitors of all ages and experience levels, showcasing a range of budgerigar categories, including young, novice, juvenile, and intermediate birds, as well as pairs, teams, and collections. Entries are to be submitted via phone or email by October 31, with no late entries accepted. Special awards will be given, including memorial trophies and cash prizes. A BBQ breakfast, lunch, and free morning tea will be provided, with a social evening scheduled for Friday, November 1. Additionally, an online auction of club members’ birds will be held leading up to the event.

Judges will be Gary Gazzard, Chris Druery & James Matthews. This show is for ANY AGE, PLATINUM YOUNG, OPEN YOUNG, INTERMEDIATE YOUNG, NOVICE YOUNG AND
JUVENILE BIRDS plus Pairs, Teams and Collection. All young birds to be rung with an ANBC 2023 (blue) ring. Finally, Juvenile birds to be rung with an ANBC 2024 (Red) ring.

A BBQ breakfast & lunch will be on sale, morning tea will be available free of charge. To that end, please advise at time of entries if you will be joining us for a social get together. The event is on Friday night starting at around 6.00 pm at the Orange RSL Club, 231-243 Anson St, Orange.
