Midstate Budgerigar Auction 2025

The Midstate Budgerigar Auction 2025 is one of the highlights of the year for bird lovers and breeders across NSW. This annual event features 18 quality lots, all generously donated by members of the Midstate Budgerigar Club. Moreover, this is part of our club’s yearly fundraising initiative. Please support our club and the budgerigar hobby.

The auction will open on 19 October and close on 26 October 2025. This gives everyone the opportunity to bid on some exceptional birds while helping to raise funds for our club’s annual show. Every dollar raised goes directly to the Midstate Budgerigar Club. We are proudly affiliated with the Budgerigar Society of New South Wales.

This year’s lots feature a stunning selection of Cinnamonwings, Spangles, Normals, Clearwings, Violets, Yellowfaces, and more. All are bred and donated by dedicated Midstate breeders. Whether you’re looking to enhance your stud, start your own aviary, or simply admire some of the finest budgerigars around, this is an auction not to miss.

Pick up Details for Midstate Auction 2025

All birds will be taken to our Annual Show on 1 November 2025, where they can be picked up in Orange on the day. For those unable to attend, freight boxes are available for $20, and we’re offering a free trip to the nearest airport for anyone wishing to fly their birds. Purchasers who live locally to the sellers are also welcome to collect their birds personally.

Please note that payments for all birds are due by the Wednesday following the auction.

At the Midstate Budgerigar Club, we’re more than just a club — we’re a community. We welcome members of all ages who share a love of breeding, exhibiting, and talking “budgies.” If you have any questions or just want to join us for a friendly chat and a cuppa, you’ll always be welcome.
