Why “Mega”?
The NEBS Mega Auction is designed to align with the club’s monthly meeting rhythm. Each auction concludes on the Sunday prior to the meeting on the second Wednesday of the month, helping buyers finalise payments promptly and making the meeting night a convenient hub for bird transfers between vendors and purchasers.
To keep things streamlined and focused, NEBS will run one auction per month. And if there’s only one—why not make it a mega one?
More About NEBS Mega Auction Feb 2026
This auction includes birds from Gina & Ian Wise that they wouldn’t otherwise sell. With major works planned for their bird room, they’ll be reducing numbers—creating a rare opportunity for bidders to access birds not typically offered.
Important notes for bidders
- All bidding is anonymous (only bidder numbers are shown).
- Each listing states the bird’s location.
- Freight costs are the purchaser’s responsibility.
- Register your phone number when bidding for smoother communication.
- Many vendors can deliver to the nearest airport free of charge, and may combine freight to help reduce costs.
- NEBS is not-for-profit; proceeds support the club and promote the hobby.
Thank you for your support—and happy bidding!
